Frankie Abralind is an Autistic innovation leader with a specialty in service design and user-centered research. He has a proven track record leading creative teams and building cultures of psychological safety.
Frankie studied design at Cornell University and earned his M.B.A. from the University of Maryland. He served as Innovation Program Manager at Johns Hopkins Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C. where he worked on improving the experience for patients and staff. Inspired by that work, he launched an independent nonprofit focused on good listening, creating the concept of the “Listener Poet.” He's taught the popular course Innovative Thinking to grad students at University of Maryland since 2014.
A parallel career as an artist complements Frankie's design work. In addition to color field paintings and typewritten portraits, he has created multiple games, including the bestsellers BrainSpin and Dumb Questions to Ask Your Friends.
