What Are These NFTs?

Think of them as "certificates of authenticity" that utilize the blockchain, that same legendary database that underlies cryptocurrency. Non Fungible Tokens (NFTs) verify your ownership of an item, like a painting, and can entitle you to certain privileges, like possession of the original.
Frankie will personally walk you through the NFT buying process, via live screenshare, if you're ready to buy a painting.

For each thisisnotprecious (TINP) painting, three types of NFTs are available for purchase: (Why NFTs?)

  1. Dibs NFT (1/1)  $560 original list price.
    Here's what you get:

    • Physical: Original physical artwork for the corresponding TINP painting for the inaugural purchaser. It comes packaged in the endpapers of a deluxe Collector's Edition copy of Frankie's book.

    • Digital: Lovely limited-edition collectible digital copy of artwork image.

    • Privilege: Holders have the privilege of a 50% discount on any further purchases of artwork* or merchandise from the currently available inventory for sale on frankieabralind.com

    • Collectible: Dibs NFTs are unique.

  2. 56Club NFT (1/10)  $56 original list price.
    Here's what you get:

    • Digital: Lovely limited-edition collectible digital copy of artwork image.

    • Privilege: Holders have the privilege of a 56% discount on any purchases of merchandise from the currently available inventory for sale on frankieabralind.com.*

    • Collectible: Each TINP painting is limited to ten 56Club NFTs.

  3. FrienFT  For friends! (1/100)  $5.60 original list price.
    Here's what you get:

    • Digital: Lovely limited-edition collectible digital copy of artwork image.

    • Great way to show your support for my work as an artist.

    • Maybe one day it'll be worth a lot of money.

    • Collectible: Each TINP painting is limited to one hundred FrienFTs.

*Excludes Frankie's other NFTs, which are technically for sale on the SolSea marketplace. (Why SolSea?)

{ Dibs NFT Rules }

1. The very first purchaser of each Dibs NFT is entitled to receive the physical artwork of its corresponding original TINP painting from the artist, Frankie Abralind. It will be delivered packaged in an archival mylar sleeve integrated into the endpapers of an ultra-limited-edition 13" x 11" hardcover prerelease copy of Frankie's forthcoming book, The Fabulous True Story of Jesus H. Christ on a Popsicle StickAny holder of a Dibs NFT is also entitled to the privilege of a 50% discount on any original artwork* or merchandise from the currently available inventory for sale on frankieabralind.com

In other words, Dibs NFTs provide a lot of utility for buyers:

  • PAINTING

    • The first buyer of any Dibs NFT is entitled to the physical TINP artwork it depicts.

  • BOOK

    • The first buyer is also entitled to one of 55 pre-release Collector's Edition copies of Frankie's book.

  • DISCOUNT PRIVILEGE

    • Dibs NFT owners can purchase any artwork* or merchandise from Frankie's website at 50% discount.

  • RARITY

    • There is only one single Dibs NFT for each TINP painting.

  • RESALE VALUE

    • If a Dibs NFT owner chooses to resell their Dibs NFT on the SolSea marketplace, the 50% discount privilege persists, shifting to the Dibs NFT's new owner.

2. Each buyer is eligible to receive only one of the 55 original TINP paintings. Frankie appreciates his fans and wants to share his work with more than just one or two bulk purchasers; plus, he's designed the collector's edition of the book to be a treat to read. He doesn't want it languishing in a stack in some investor's safe room. ;)

3. It is the responsibility of the Dibs NFT purchaser to reach out to the artist to claim the original artwork. If a Dibs NFT is resold before the physical artwork is claimed, the corresponding physical artwork's ownership reverts to the artist, Frankie Abralind, who may resell it to another buyer.

4. Frankie Abralind reserves the right to deny the privileges of any purchaser if those privileges are demanded in a manner contrary to the spirit in which which they were granted. This rule is not expected to ever be invoked, but it's here to protect Frankie from unforeseeable scenarios, e.g. a well-funded misanthrope who buys all inventory as it becomes available with the express purpose of burning it.

*Excludes Frankie's other NFTs, which are technically for sale on the SolSea marketplace.
