I worked as an experience designer for the Innovation Hub at Johns Hopkins Sibley Memorial Hospital before starting my nonprofit.  Experience design, also known as service design, seeks to make the experiences of users more intentional. If you want to learn more, a great place to start is The Power of Moments, a story-filled book by Stanford's Chip & Dan Heath. I also teach about it in my course, Innovative Thinking, for the Master's of Technology Entrepreneurship at the University of Maryland.
