I worked as an experience designer for the Innovation Hub at Johns Hopkins Sibley Memorial Hospital before starting my nonprofit.  Experience design, also known as service design, seeks to create more intentional experiences for users. If you want to learn more, a great place to start is The Power of Moments, a story-filled book by Stanford's Chip & Dan Heath. I also teach about experience design in my course, Innovative Thinking, for the Master's of Technology Entrepreneurship at the University of Maryland.
